Matera, 5 October 2022 – The allocation of the 115 apartments of the complex “Social Housing – Città dei Sassi” built in Matera by the Esperia Fund, managed by Fabrica Immobiliare SGR, with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) as the main investor was completed this morning.
Toda, the last two apartments available in the new residential complex were delivered. Thus reaches 100% of the occupancy.
A special thanks to all the actors involved, whose contribution has been crucial to realise a pivotal project for Matera and the whole Southern Italy: CDP Immobiliare SGR, Fondazione Con Il Sud , Fondazione Housing Sociale, Finabita Spa.
Giovanni Maria Benucci, CEO of Fabrica SGR, underlines: “We are happy to deliver to the City of Matera this new structure, the result of an innovative experience of partnership between public and private entities for the creation of new rental accommodation for families, elderly and young couples. This success was possible thanks to all the actors present on this occasion, under the coordination of the Esperia Fund that, with a project of 120 million euros, aims to respond to the housing need in Southern Italy, opening the doors to the new forms of social housing, still almost non-existent in the South.“
