Chairman
Graduated in Economics at the Università La Sapienza of Rome, is today Accountant and Auditor after a decade of experience with Coopers & Lybrand (today Pricewaterhouse Coopers); he has been the CFO of the Gruppo Birra Peroni and he has covered the role of CFO for Sorgente Santa Croce SpA. Since 2007, he has worked with Caltagirone SpA under the role of CEO and CFO. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Vianini SpA, accounting and company data Director and Director of Internal control and Risks Committee for Caltagirone Editore SpA. Mr Caprara is also a member of the Boar of Directors for other companies of the Gruppo Caltagirone.

Senior accountant. From 1985 to 2000 consultant for Assogestioni on the regard of corporate economic aspects and Supervisor for SGR and SIM companies. His professional activities have been consolidated through the years, performing various roles as: within Administrative Board, as a Liquidator, as a member of Statutory Auditors; within corporate consultancy in particular for banks and financial brokers, listed companies and companies monitored by listed companies, and as company appraiser. He has performed and performs today under the role of Extraordinary Commissioner, Liquidator Commissioner and member of the Monitoring Committee for Bank Of Italy, other banks and financial brokers in extraordinary administration or in compulsory administrative winding up.

He has been CEO of Grandi Stazioni Immobiliare SpA, and acted as Board Director of Cementir Italia SpA, Grandi Stazioni SpA, Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA Bank and of Caltagirone SpA.

Important competences have also been acquired while participating in the Board of Statutory Auditors and Board of Directors of many Corporate LLCs, listed on the stock market and among the major Entrepreneurial Groups. President of the ODV of many companies listed on the stock market and of companies belonging to a major bank group. Today he is Professor of Corporate Economy at the “La Sapienza”, University of Rome.
